7 Ways You Can Defy Aging

Everybody wants to be younger. Not necessarily be 20 years old, but have the energy, metabolism, and motivation of a 20 year old. Getting growth hormone therapy in Florida might not reverse aging, but here are a few things you can do to help yourself defy aging.

Sleep early

Your body heals itself and restores itself when you’re asleep, so sleep earlier. Waking up well rested will lead to a great day with more energy and more done. To able to feel the effects of a good night’s sleep, you’ll have to tuck in for six weeks straight. Only after six weeks will you able to see and feel the difference.

Eat healthier

Eat more fruits and vegetables and of course, more water. Fruits and vegetables have a lot of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that will make you feel better, look better, and of course give you more energy and make you feel more refreshed. If you eat healthy all the time, you can always have a big cheat day and have your favorite dessert.

Exercise

Of course exercise will be on this list! Strength training, especially the right kind, will make you feel decades younger. The exercise will make your muscles regenerate and this strengthens them. This also builds stamina and makes you resistant to injuries. Have exercise, the strength training (focusing on the core and lower body) three times a week and before you know it, you’ll be healthy as a horse.

Take care of your looks

It’s okay to be a little vain. The best way to look like you’re twenty just like the way you feel like you’re twenty is to take care of your looks. Why not cover up those gray hairs with a little hair color, or put on some fancy moisturizer? Women can also splurge on some great make up, and maybe watch YouTube videos on how to use them and doll themselves up anytime they want? Or you can go have a long, relaxing day at the spa or the salon. There’s nothing wrong with trying to look your best, and maybe that’s one of the ways that you can show that you look as great as you feel.

Try something new

The body craves for something new when you’ve done the same thing over and over again for a long period of time. Trying something new can make you feel younger. One of the ways that you can do this is trying a new hobby, a new route when running, or stopping at a new cafe in the morning on the way to work.

Listen to your favorite music

If you have a smartphone, download Spotify (and maybe get a premium account to be able to save all that beautiful music), and listen to the music you grew up with. When you’re surrounded with things you grew up with, you feel younger, happier, and become healthier.

Be positive

The world is a cruel place, but that’s no reason to keep on being gloomy. Don’t ignore the bad things that are happening, just focus on the good things that are happening to.
